Life is definitely good for Nas right about now. The 38 year old Queensbridge bread rapper dropped his 10th studio album. After a long four years since his last album (album went untitled) and alot of bullshit in between Nas takes it back to his roots and spit like he was 17 again. Nas has overcome alot allegations and adversaries, including a public and cruel divorce with Kelis in 2009. Even after all that plus raising his kids, Nas puts it all out for the world and drops what can possibly be not only one of his top albums but also one of the hottest this year. Life Is Good is a 14 track cd, with features from Rick Ross, Mary J. Blige, Large Professor, Anthony Hamilton, Miguel, Swizz Beats, Victoria Monet, and even the late great Amy Winehouse. Not only does his bring an all star team of singers/rappers, The producers on this are no strangers to Nas classics like No ID, Salaam Remi and Justice L.E.A.G.U.E. All these producers ass soundscapes that bring Nas's stories to life, infusing influences from the past and present states of hip-hop.
Nas celebrated like the don that he is, he had every celebrity out partying with him on his big day. Even a surprised guest showed up.. The other king of NY Jay-Z stopped to congratulate Nas on his 10th album and even drank and blew acouple of cigars together. As it should be.
