"Rap Icon Max B also known as Charly Wingate was found guilty of involvement in a robbery that left a man dead after the State of New Jersey cohearsed co defendant Gina Conway to testify against him. He was sentenced to 40 years on September 4th 2009, with out any evidence presented by the state. The actual gun man was captured and also testified against Charly Wingate. Many people feel the rappers conviction was cruel and unlawful. On August 30th 2012 Max B's appeal was denied with no further notice. Pardon the wave is collectively organizing a petition for his release. We are looking to approach both Governor Chris Christie and President Obama for a Pardon. Supporters are asked to sign the petition, our goal is 4 million signatures. Despite the charges and allegations the rapper was not in the state at the time when the crime was committed nor did he obstruct justice when approached by police. Charly Max B Wingate deserves another chance in society. Max B has contributed to the Hip Hop game in a major way. He is also a father and husband. Why should he be forced to spend the rest of his life in prison for conspiracy allegations?"
