Yo Colombia is making all of us Colombians very proud! Today they played home versus Paraguay in El Metropolitano in Barranquilla. The first half started out slow, with Paraguay controlling most of the game in possession. In the second half Colombia came out a whole different team. Whatever Pekerman told talked to them in the locker worked! The team came out strong, pressuring and defending in every play. In the 52' minute with a great pass from Mcnelly Torres, Radamel Falcao broke DaSilva's ankles and with his weak foot (left foot) he put up an amazing shot putting up Colombia 1-0. In the 82' minute Elkin Soto threw up a great volly which rebounded and aloud Falcao to beat two defenders and play monkey in the middle with the keeper. Colombia currently leads the Conmebol qualifiers (depending on the Argentina x Uruguay results). I can honestly say for the first time in a long time, I enjoy watching my country play once more!
