Joey Bada$$ is inspired by the '90s era hip-hop. His first tape 1999 showed his love for that decade and the legend mc's that it brought. Green Label Sound (Joey's label) found out about Joey's admiration and respect for the OG DJ Premier, they hooked it up and got both of them in the studio together cooking crack.
Joey Bada$$ and DJ Premier linked up in his legendary studio HeadQCourterz in Manhattan to knock out what is now called "Unorthodox". Unorthodox is a dope smooth, unique track that he dedicates to real hip-hop fans and his Pro Era team. Peep the sneak preview of this track.
