Today Lionel Messi became the first four-time winner of the FIFA Player of the Year award after putting the world record to rest with 91 goals last year for Barcelona and Argentina.
Messi without a doubt commanded the polls. He received 41.60 percent of the points in votes by national team coaches and captains, and some media. Cristiano Ronaldo came in second with 23.68 percent and Iniesta with 10.91 percent.
Congrats to Leo Messi, he keeps on proving to the world why at only 25 he is the best soccer
player over Cristiano and everybody else in the game. The golden ball doesn't lie my friends.
